Pingmag - supercool webzine/blog

You've got to check out this cool zine I just found re: hands-on design/crafts stuff - they focus on all sorts of things involving design and making things, and I came across it from a short piece on a VJ event called Visualux.

Featured in a full-page spread in the Toronto Star's DesiLife magazine

I just got word that my music collaborator, Anuj Rastogi and I were featured in a full-page spread in the Toronto Star's DesiLife magazine!

Its a pretty short piece written up after we sat down at my place for a snack one afternoon with Amita Handa - one of their journalists.

re-appearing chuddies!

So, it turns out that the missing undergarments were drying in the geezer (sp?) closet - ha... a nifty trick; for all those out there reading this that don't know, a geezer is a water tank with an immersion heater in it... which itself warms up and passes heat through its closet, effectually (slowely) drying things such as boxer shorts!

I was lucky to make this discovery just before leaving for the coast - the trip was amazing and I'll try to get some photos online soon...

missing undergarments and such... oh life in Africa!

Wanna hear some crazy shit? Sure thing - I was just packing for a trip to the coast of Kenya for a few days (I'm in Nairobi at the moment) and I couldn't find any of my socks or boxer shorts!!!! They're all missing?!?!?!

Wow, and that's not all - at some point in the day the toilet seat cover here in my brother's apartment went missing... some spooky stuff this... will have to check in with his maid but I tell you, I don't think the local supermarket - 'Nakumatt' will stock the Calvin Kleins I'm used to :(
